| Abstract Alternative | The purpose of this study is to analyze the practice of disaster prevention education in Wakayama Prefecture in an empirical way from the viewpoint of problems and limitations of disaster prevention education. We were able to obtain a certain suggestion about the role of the manual, how to use it,and the measures of the regional cooperation through the examination of the Disaster prevention manual and the evacuation training of the educational site and the school management strategy as a refuge place.
