Abstract
本稿では，高等学校数学での発展的学習として，「4数ゲーム」と呼ばれる題材について議論する。この「4数ゲーム」は，高校生でも容易にルールを理解して取り組めるものであるが，実は非常に奥が深い。その規則性を考えることは，生徒の数学的思考力を養う数学的活動として適した教材であることを紹介し，その内容を詳細に記述する。
