Abstract Alternative
Sustainability is a different term equivalent to the sustainable development, which is commonly used in many documents of the United Nations. This paper surveys various definitions of sustainable development or sustainability and argues that the definitions in documents of United Nations are biased in favor for their practice in the modern daily life oriented to economic considerations worldwide.
