Influences to Taguchi Ukichi’s Thoughts

Taguchi Ukichi is famous for the particularity of his libertarianism. He was the first publisher of the professional economic magazine in Japan and he established private companies. And he was famous for his consistency of economic thoughts. While a few researchers have studied and analyzed his contributions to the history of economic thoughts, this has not been considered properly. Ukichi’s economic thoughts should be considered from the following viewpoints: methodology, relation to H. Spencer, and the eastern economic thoughts.
