There have emerged various perspectives related to the concept of sustainable tourism, such as one asserting the notion of resilience instead of sustainability (Stephen McCool), another adding in the fourth factor of politics (Richard Butler), and so forth. This paper suggests a new framework for sustainable tourism that integrates these new factors based on the ideas of resilience and a quadruple bottom line.
