Abstract Alternative | Acro Nainen Co., Ltd., headquartered in Wakayama City, is a manufacturer with worldclass technical and development capabilities in the specific field of clutches, pistons and brakes used in automobiles and industrial machinery. Kiichi Katsumoto is the chairman of this company founded in 1968. Due to various past circumstances, he has been managing group companies in various business fields, ranging from precision mechanical parts to high-quality umeboshi dried plums for gifts, and has expanded their business and enhanced performance. He has also been expected to play various key roles as one of most successful business leaders of Wakayama Prefecture. As a company and an executive respectively, Acro Nainen and Katsumoto are unique entities that must be attracting the attention of researchers who have been closely watching the economy of Wakayama prefecture. However, there are few records or discussions about the company’s business, the company’s background, and Katsumoto’s entrepreneurial experience. Using the various information that Katsumoto has provided us with regarding the company and himself, as well as his consent to write a research article, we will publish the results.
