Currently, the number of students with mild intellectual disabilities and developmental disorders is increasing in the high school section of special needs schools. Along with this, the number of students with secondary disorders is increasing. The teachers are having difficulties dealing with this increase, therefore improvements of the existing education system are needed.
In this survey, we conducted a questionnaire targeting teachers in the high school section of special needs schools about how to deal with behavioral problems caused by secondary disorders. As a result, we found that the following are important; 1) Focus on preventive guidance and reduce the time for post-treatment. 2)Build a curriculum so that students can grow on their own, through relationships with others.
