Abstract Alternative | In recent years, the sharing economy has been expanding rapidly. The sharing economy can be regarded as a business where people share or exchange their resources in the peer-to-peer way. The essence of the sharing economy is not using resources more efficiently but building relationships between individuals. Then, the city is reattracting public attention as a field of business today. The sharing economy has a positive influence not only on the development of urban business but also on the reconstruction of urban communities. Based on these considerations, we study travel businesses utilizing the sharing economy for Burakuri-cho shopping district, the center of Wakayama city.
