Abstract Alternative | In this study, I considered the contribution of university to produce stakeholder in local community. The local universities and colleges are required to contribute the regional revitalization policy. So, many universities and colleges have been developing to the program for the career education that the graduates wish to take a job in local area. The study project of Wakayama University hypothesized, if the students have “deep interest” to the local area, they will get the “attachment” consciousness that the local are the place to work and live for them, even though the place are the rural area. So, we start the education program in some field in Wakayama prefecture. As a result, we found that the “deep interest” bring the “attachment” to the local and residental place by getting the skill and knowledge for the local activities through the direct participation and/or the deeply continual area study.
