Abstract Alternative | Disaster prevention awareness in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) is an urgent issue to improve. In this context, the authors have been exploring and practicing disaster-prevention childcare for infants and toddlers young children (0-6years) that is experiential, encourages children's spontaneous activities, and allows teachers to work on disaster prevention themselves, sometimes including their parents. In this report, we summarize the results of a questionnaire survey for 10 years of parents and teachers that we have conducted through these disaster prevention childcare practices.Based on the results,we decided to create a roadmap for “qualitative improvement” for future disaster prevention ECEC practices.
