This study examines sustainability in a multilateral academic context as well as from the perspectives of history of economics, economic history, and human resource administration. “Sustainability” has become the current key interdisciplinary concept. However, many studies have not reviewed the fact that this concept has historical and diverse features. Therefore, we consider “sustainability” in all its aspects.
