Abstract Alternative
This paper engages with the contemporary problems of spiritual tourism, which includes the traditional parts of pilgrimage and the modern parts of sightseeing tourism, arguing this dichotomy has been encouraged by the economic development due to the progress of social productive forces in order to promote the modernization of sacred sites and the contemporary spirituality-oriented tourism.
