| Abstract | 文化的多様性に気づき、多文化社会の中で異なる考えや文化をもつ世界の人々と外国語を通じて積極的にコミュニケーションを図ろうとする態度や能力を養っていくこと、また小学校段階から英語嫌いをつくらない魅力ある外国語教育を行っていくことについては小学校外国語教育の授業づくりが鍵となる。本稿では、和歌山県における小学校外国語教育の成果を振り返りつつ、国際理解教育・異文化理解教育の視点からつくる魅力ある小学校外国語教育の可能性について論じた。
