Abstract Alternative | The Social Inclusion Research Unit of Wakayama University works on measures to address social exclusion from a multidisciplinary perspective. We have collected and shared information on basic areas, such as human rights, which are necessary when considering remedial measures for social exclusion. On the basis of the information on basic areas, we examined social inclusion in a university setting. From the research, we found that it is necessary for a university to offer an opportunity to learn about the necessity of social inclusion and provide occasions to cope with reactions.
