Abstract Alternative
A Star-Watching Party was held at JASSO Osaka Japanese Language Education Center for international students studying Japanese. The key person of the event was an international student who took training at the center and after that studied astronomy education at Wakayama university. The goal of the party was to let the international students of the center feel the universe through casual observations and communication among the participants and to raise the awareness that we are all human being living on the sphere, planet Earth. The questionnaire at the end of the party was requested to be filled in, and we found that the goal was achieved. One of the reasons for the success was relationship of trust among university research, students of the center, and education and administrative staff of the center.
