特別支援学校(病弱)における不登校を経験した発達障害のある生徒への教育的対応及び包括的支援 : 母親へのインタビューを通して

This study aims to reveal the experience of a student and the mother of the student with developmental disorders who has a history of remaining absent from school. It discusses the educational treatment and comprehensive support provided to the student at a special school for students with health impairments. A qualitative analysis of the data collected from an interview conducted with the mother revealed that the mother and her childʼs experiences included the following six categories： A chain of negative emotions that bubbled up with the onset and increase of anxiety, the motherʼs heart caught up by a lack of understanding, transformation of the response from a solo effort, behavioral changes in the child due to anxiety, proposal-negotiated support based on the characteristics of disorders, and outcomes of the support team. These six categories are closely linked. Based on the results, the educational treatment and comprehensive support, including early detection of disorders, effective use of assessments, proposal-negotiated support, should be conducted at the community service and special school for students with health impairments.
