Abstract Alternative | The purpose of this study was to clarify whether wearing a mask during a dance performance contributes to reducing anxiety factors. The results of this study revealed that wearing a mask and dancing reduces anxiety. Furthermore, it was revealed that dancing with a mask improves dance performance. From the results of this research, it is thought that skillfully incorporating masks into dance lessons may reduce anxiety and provide steps and opportunities that make it easier to engage in dance lessons. Also, by reducing embarrassment and anxiety in children, it is thought that they will be able to feel the joy of dancing.
