Abstract Alternative
Wakayama Medical University is a Japanese local public medical institution, but its orthopedic surgery department now attracts many patients and even doctors from every corner of Japan and even from many other parts of the world. This is because of the great contributions and advances achieved by Dr. Munehito Yoshida, professor of Wakayama Medical University and president of its affiliated hospital. This article attempts to describe and record how he conveyed and disseminated his “clinical knowledge and mind” while teaching, guiding and encouraging staff members, assistants, and various other collaborators and supporters.
