This paper addresses the problems associated with the theory of corporate strategy that have arisen in recent years. It has been claimed that corporate strategy is qualitatively different from business strategy, which puts emphasis on the parenting role of the firm. However, corporate strategy is influenced by the diversification of business. In short, the diversified development of business is a key problem and it is also a matter that directly affects the resilience of a firm.
