In the present study, chondroitin sulfate was extracted from the nasal cartilage of Oncorhynchus mykiss. Chondroitin sulfate derived from Oncorhynchus mykiss had a molecular weight of approximately 150,000. The structural component of chondroitin sulfate, glucuronic acid moiety was not sulfated, and the 4-O-and 6-O-positions of N - acetylgalactosamine were sulfated, and the ratio of sulfation was higher in the 6-O-position.
