German lesson in face-to-face class and online class compared from the perspective of learners and the teacher

The results of opinion interviews with students who studied German in face-to-face classes in the first semester 2022 and in Zoom classes in the second semester 2022 showed that, contrary to the author’s expectations, the majority preferred face-to-face classes to Zoom classes. They reported that they could communicate and learn with other students more effectively than they did in online classes.
