Small Area Statistics
Mobile Spatial Statistics
Seasonality
Gini Coefficient
Recently, empirical studies using small area statistics have been increasing in various fields. However, there are few studies using small area statistics in tourism studies. The purpose of this paper is to conduct seasonal variation analysis using mobile spatial statistics in Osaka City and Wakayama City, and to verify the effectiveness of empirical analysis using small area statistics in tourism studies. As a result of the analysis, it was found that if foreign tourists increase in Osaka City, the seasonal variation becomes smaller. At the same time, a clear disparity could be found when organized by Osaka City 24 wards. Based on these results, it is expected that empirical studies using small area statistics in tourism studies will increase in the future.
