Abstract
光は,自然界の重要な構成要素であり,我々は光によって物を見,太陽光からエネルギーをもらって生活している。しかし,今まで学校教育において光に関する教育が,常に適切に行われて来たとは言い難い。本稿では,昭和20年代以降の学習指導要領を中心に光の取扱いを吟味し,学校教育において光を取り上げることの意義及び,光を教える上での視点について考察した。
