Abstract
次期の学習指導要領に位置づけられている「総合的な学習の時間」において,数学的な題材,特にグラフに関する題材を用いた授業の試みを中学生を対象として行った。この授業で用いた資料は,「総合的な学習の時間」の取扱いの趣旨で述べられている観点の中で,本研究では,地域に関する資料を用いた。故に,生徒の主な学習活動は,和歌山県のという地域の状況を知るということと様々なグラフや表を読むという2点が中心であった。グループでの活動は,生徒の興味,関心を引き起こしていたと思われる。
