Abstract Alternative
Communist Party of Uruguay established in 1920. Until now, Uruguayan communist has participated elections as legitimate actor. Sometime they collaborated with other parties or fraction, even with leftist fraction in traditional parties. I would like to describe pragmatism and principle of Communist Party of Uruguay, focusing their electoral strategy in order to clarify why this party still survives in Uruguayan political society.
