Abstract
3代の学校長が思いを引き継ぎながら、10 年の歳月をかけて国語科の研究校として授業改善に取り組んできた四箇郷小学校。同校の校長は、中核教員を若手教員のモデルとして育成し、教員相互が学び合える集団となるよう導いてきた。本稿では、学校長がどんな思いをもって教員集団を導いていったのか、また、中核教員がそれをどう受け止めて実践し、学び合う教員集団による学校改革が進められていったのかを詳述する。
