Abstract
本稿の目的は、芝拓実氏の「言語活動を充実させ、説明する社会科授業の研究」について、優れた点を紹介し、成果と課題について考察することである。芝氏は、「資料の関連付け」と「話し合いによる学習の支援」という課題意識をもって、検証授業を計画し実施した。この取組は、言語活動をいかに充実させるかという今日的な課題にアプローチしたものであるといえる。社会科の資料を読み取り、関連付けるというコンピテンシーを生徒に獲得させる有効な取組となった。本項では、芝氏の研究の優れた点を中心に紹介する。
