The purpose of this study is to describe the contents of the Life Environment Studies joint lectures given by teachers specializing in Technology Education and Clothing Science for the Teacher Training Course of Wakayama University. A hand-made loom was made from the viewpoint of "artisan work" as Technology Education. Weaving was then done using the loom from the viewpoint of "Clothing in Life" for a total of 4 lessons. In conclusion, Clothing Education should be adopted as part of Life Environment Studies, as clothing is always worn and a way to think of our own life. The act of weaving can be considered as one type of labor, since Technology Education and Clothing Science are in cooperation. Further consideration should be given to more integrated lessons.
