Abstract
時代の社会システムを探る社会科歴史授業の意義はどのようなものか。現代社会とは相対的に異なる社会の探究を通して、社会の認識の仕方を学ぶとともに、過去の社会システムを目的－手段の観点から考察することにより、子ども自身がより望ましいと考える社会的価値を実現するための法や政策といった手段を探りうることであろう。本研究では、時代の社会システムを探る社会科歴史授業の意義を述べるとともに、小学校６年生における実際の授業を取り上げ、時代の社会システムを探る社会科歴史授業の具体を示した。
