Abstract
平成29年3月公示中学校学習指導要領(以下、新学習指導要領)では「現代社会に見られる課題の解決を視野に主体的に社会に関わろうとする態度を養う」ことを目標に掲げており、「国民主権を担う国民の育成」という到達点を意識した社会科の授業づくりが求められている。主権者教育を進めるために、教師は授業観・教材観を見直すことが必要である。公民的分野・地理的分野の授業実践事例を取り上げ、それらの具体的展開を示すと共に、探究型の授業設計のあり方、並びに主権者教育の成果と課題を明らかにした。
